We know it sounds a bit crazy to tell clients "not" to hire us. Give us a moment to explain ourselves.
We strongly believe that not every potential client will be the right fit for us.
We take what we do very seriously, and place a HIGH value on fit, so we're honest and upfront about our position.
Over the years, we’ve come to learn that sometimes what the client is looking for or how they operate doesn’t always align with our own core beliefs and business model. So before we take on your website project, we want to make sure we’re compatible so we can give you a website you’re happy with.
If we're not a good fit, we'll tell you so. We wouldn’t want to lead you on, and we’d hope you’d extend us the same courtesy were the roles reversed.
What to Expect
Once we accept your deposit, we dedicate all the necessary resources and manpower to your website build. The time to launch will be no more than 14 days, and we take this timeframe/schedule seriously.
We'll communicate with you daily and keep you up-to-date, and ask for your input on the project. In order for us to make sure we can deliver what we promise when we promised it, your involvement is essential. You'll be required to provide meaningful feedback and approvals at various stages, so your availability and capacity to make decisions is critical.
That being said,
- If you are unable or unwilling to stick to a schedule, DON'T HIRE US.
- If you are too busy to answer emails or return phone calls, and have no one you can delegate this task to, DON'T HIRE US.
- If you expect a long, drawn-out process to complete your website over a few months, DON'T HIRE US.
- If you travel often, or anticipate that you'll need to suddenly go on leave/holiday/reservist while your website is being built, DON'T HIRE US.
- If launching your new website isn't a high priority for you, or if you are juggling multiple projects, DON'T HIRE US.
- If you are not the primary decision maker and have to continually report back to a boss, manager, superior, board or committee to approve updates and changes, DON'T HIRE US.
- If you don’t have any idea what you want, DON'T HIRE US. In this case, we're really not for you. It’d be a waste of time and resources for us both if you don’t have clarity on what your objectives are. We can conceptualise and execute a design, but ultimately you have to decide if it will work for you.
