Pricing & Payment

  • 1. How much are your websites?

    We charge a fixed price of SGD $799 for website design up to 20 pages.

    This price includes 1 year complimentary new domain registration and web hosting (5GB disk space) with 10 email accounts. There are no extra hidden costs.

    If you want to be able to update your website content on your own, our custom-built Content Management System (CMS) is an additional, one-time cost of $99.

  • 2. Is there a setup fee? How long is the contract?

    There are absolutely no setup fees and no contracts.

  • 3. Are there any ongoing/recurring costs?

    We provide complimentary new domain name registration and web hosting for 1 year if required.

    The only ongoing/recurring costs for your website are for annual domain name and web hosting renewal after that first year ($20-60 for domain name, $120 for hosting).

  • 4. Do you require a deposit?

    We require a 25% non-refundable deposit of $200 ($225 with CMS) to secure your spot in the build line. This deposit will be put towards the final cost of your site.

  • 5. How do I make payment for my website?

    We'll send you an invoice, and you may pay online using Paypal, Stripe, Credit Card or by Bank Transfer. Full details will be included on the invoice.

    Please note that we do not accept payments by cheque.

  • 6. What is the payment schedule?

    25% of total fee due immediately upon signed letter of agreement and before work commences.

    75% balance due immediately upon delivery of the completed website, hosted and "live".

  • 7. Do you provide refunds?

    We do not provide refunds once payment is made; either for the deposit or the full payment once your site is launched.

    Open and honest communication regarding the build process of your site is essential. You are in essence building the site with us.

    We do not build anything into your site unless it is approved by you first.

Getting Started

  • 2. Can we meet in person to discuss?

    Due to our current schedule, it may not possible for us to meet you in person for a sit-down discussion. All communication is usually done by phone, video call and email. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

  • 3. I already have a domain name and web hosting. Any discount?

    No. We provide complimentary domain name registration and web hosting as added value to our customers only. The cost is still $799.

  • 4. How long will it take for my site to be built?

    No longer than 14 days from when the deposit is paid.

    After you approve the design and kindly make payment of the deposit, we'll setup a live development website within 24-36 hours. This development website will be active 24/7 all the way until your actual website is launched. A link will be sent to you so you can monitor the progress of your website as it's being built.

    It will take 3-5 days to layout all the pages of your site, and then another 5-7 days to add content and test the site repeatedly before it's launched.

    Your involvement is essential - you'll be required to provide meaningful feedback and approvals at various stages so your availability and capacity to make decisions will be critical.

  • 5. What is a Content Management System (CMS), and do I need one?

    A CMS is a platform for creating, modifying and managing content on a website from a central interface. A CMS helps make updating and maintaining a website easier.

    Our custom CMS (SGD $99) enables you to take control and update the content to suit your business, instead of paying someone every time you need to make a change.

  • 6. What materials do I need to provide to get started?

    We require your logo, all images and text content you wish to showcase on your site. You may send them by email, or we'll give you access to our server to upload these materials to us if you prefer.

  • 1. What features are included in your sites?

    Please visit our pricing page for the complete list of features available to you.

  • 2. Do you use pre-made themes and templates?

    No. We do not use themes or templates. All our websites are custom hand-coded and created in-house.

  • 3. Do you build e-commerce websites?

    No. We do not build e-commerce websites, or websites that require payment integration features. Our fixed price package is tailored for informational websites.

  • 4. Do you build membership or user registration websites?

    No. We do not build websites that require membership/login or user registration/management features. Our fixed price package is tailored for informational websites.

  • 5. Do you build multilingual websites?

    No. All our websites are in English.

  • 6. Do you use open-source CMS such as WordPress, Joomla or Drupal for your sites?

    No. Despite being extremely powerful, in our opinion the learning curve for these open-source CMS can be steep and time-consuming, and surely you have more important things to do - like running your business. We use our own custom CMS

  • 7. What is SSL & HTTPS and do you provide it?

    SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard technology for keeping an internet connection secure and safeguarding any sensitive data that is being sent between two systems. It uses encryption algorithms to scramble that data in transit, preventing hackers from reading and modifying any sensitive information as it is sent over the connection such as financial information (credit card numbers) or personal details (names and email addresses).

    HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure) appears in the URL when a website is secured by an SSL certificate. The details of the certificate, including the issuing authority and the corporate name of the website owner, can be viewed by clicking on the lock symbol on the browser bar.

    As of August 06, 2014, Google has started to give a ranking boost to websites secured by SSL/HTTPS. Link

    We provide SSL certificates at an additional cost of SGD $80, renewable yearly.

  • 8. What is Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), and do you provide it?

    Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the process of optimising your website to show up on Google search results for various keyword searches related to your business.

    We are not SEO consultants and do not guarantee first page Google results with our websites.

    However, we code using clean, semantic HTML markup so that search engines can easier distinguish the importance level of the each web page’s different parts and what message is being conveyed.

    Our experience shows that the best approach to SEO is a wholesome and honest approach to quality content.

  • 9. What is Responsive/Mobile Friendly Web Design, and do you provide it?

    Responsive web design is a way of building a single website that works effectively on both desktop browsers and the mass of mobile devices on the market. Responsive architecture gives the best quality browsing experience - whether on a smartphone, tablet, netbook or e-reader, and regardless of the operating system.

    As of April 2015, Google's search algorithms now favor websites which are responsive/mobile friendly that adjust for smaller screens. Link

    Rest assured, ALL our websites are designed to be fully responsive/mobile friendly.

Technical Details

  • 1. I already have a domain name. Can I still use your services?

    For sure! We'll handle the technical aspects of getting your existing domain name to "point" to our servers so your website will be accessible.

  • 2. I already have web hosting. Can I still use your services?

    You can choose to host with us or stay with your existing web host.

    Sometimes staying with your existing host is preferable as switching web hosts can cause downtime or disruption of hosting services. This is especially true if you have email addresses already set up with your existing host.

    We will need to check that your existing host meets the minimum PHP requirements. This ensures the security of your site and will also make your site faster as newer PHP versions are faster. If your existing host is not suitable, you'll have to host with us.

  • 3. Does your domain registration include .sg domains?

    Yes. However, there are certain requirements:

  • 5. Who owns my website?

    You do. The website is your property and can be taken with you if you ever choose to move to a different host. We provide complimentary 1 year web hosting and new domain registration.

  • 6. Can I change the entire website design after it is launched?

    Before we accept your deposit, we'll prepare a custom mockup of your site's homepage. You will be required to approve and sign off on the design as this will be the final blueprint for your site before we start work. Aside from minor tweaks, this design remains unchanged.

  • 7. What if I don't use your CMS? Do you provide content updates after my project is complete?

    Yes. You'll have a 6 months maintenance period. During that time we'll update your website content for you.

    After 6 months, we charge a fee of SGD $50 per hour or part thereof for updates.

    Of course, any issues or bugs with your website that are code-related will be attended to at no charge.

  • 8. What web browsers will my new site support?

    Every site we build is fully compatible with all modern web browsers (Safari, Firefox, Opera, Chrome & Internet Explorer) with the exception of much older and unsupported versions of each browser (Internet Explorer 6-10).
